Philadelphia Museum of Art, Dorrance Galleries
The final concert of Network’s ArtMusic II season showcased a new chamber work, Light, Line, Shadow, by award-winning composer, Pierre Jalbert. Light, Line, Shadow was created in response to Edward Hopper’s iconic Road and Trees, a painting donated to the Philadelphia Museum of Art by long-time Network friend and supporter Daniel W. Dietrich II. This event is dedicated to the memory of Dan. This piece was made possible by a grant from the Fromm Music Foundation and the Presser Foundation Special Projects grant; the performance is part of the Music in the Galleries series produced by the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
