Korey Marshall
KOREY MARSHALL is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital specializing in regional anesthesia techniques and acute pain management. His post-secondary educational journey began at the Curtis Institute of Music where he studied music performance as a student of former principal oboist of the Philadelphia Orchestra, Richard Woodhams. He subsequently matriculated at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) where he earned his B.S./B.A. in Biological Sciences and Music performance and M.S. in Biomedical Engineering.
After graduating from CMU, he earned his M.D. from University of Virginia School of Medicine and subsequently returned to Philadelphia to complete his residency training in anesthesiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Korey enjoys a wide variety of music and remains connected to the performance community through friends and former colleagues. He is eager to discover how he might support live music and performing musicians in his community and beyond.
