Network for New Music presents a free panel discussion addressing the work and influence of American composer Vincent Persichetti and his students. Panelists include Persichetti students, Behzad Ranjbaran, Jan Krzywicki, Michael White, Marga Richter, and Larry Alan Smith; also Daniel Dorff, Senior Editor at Theodore Presser Music Publishing. 

A special performance of Persichetti's Serenade for Flute and Harp will follow the discussion; Edward Schultz, flute; Rong Tan, harp.
